Modern day slavery seems to be a hot topic for television shows these days. The season premiers of both Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS: Los Angeles were about human trafficking. And tonight, Law & Order: SVU will be airing an episode called “Merchandise,” about a teenaged trafficking victim. The promo is calling the episode a “landmark case.”
