As chair of the Free the Slaves board of directors, I want to personally let you know that a generous foundation this summer is increasing its support of our work. They’ll match dollar-for-dollar your summertime contributions, up to $100,000. It’s a unique opportunity to double your impact.

You can double the rescues of children from slavery, double the number of survivor shelter beds for them, double vocational training classes for survivors so they can stay free, double the arrest of traffickers, and double the education of vulnerable villagers about their rights.

Your contribution, big or small, will be doubled.

The most rewarding aspect of my service at Free the Slaves is knowing that I am bringing hope to people who’ve endured unspeakable brutality.

Dodzi was sold into slavery when her parents died in Ghana. She spent years on dangerous fishing boats, but today she is learning new skills to support her daughter in freedom.

Roshan grew up in a family of slaves in an Indian village where bondage is common custom. But today he works as a paralegal to help free others.

Mamady is a village leader who went on our awareness-raising trip in Senegal to witness child slavery in the city. He discovered his own nephew in forced begging slavery on the street and rescued him on the spot.

Three lives changed forever by your donations. Imagine doubling that to six, and 12, and 24, and more!

I hope you will take this opportunity to double down on freedom by making, renewing or increasing your contribution to Free the Slaves.

Many thanks,

Gregory Haile
Chair, Free the Slaves Board of Directors
