Our 15th anniversary year comes to a close in just a few days. It’s been a remarkably successful year.
Our front-line anti-slavery programs have crossed two important benchmarks: freeing more than 10,000 people from slavery and educating more than 100,000 to prevent their enslavement.
Our global advocacy initiatives have helped convince Nepal to outlaw slavery in its new constitution and prompted members of the U.S. Congress to introduce bills to increase anti-slavery funding and establish nationwide corporate accountability for slavery in products.
We’ve been commemorating our anniversary in many ways—with a new animated video, the Free the Slaves Formula for Freedom, which explains our four-step strategy for freeing slaves; with a 10-part Face to Face with Slavery film series that lets you meet the people you’ve helped free; and with a Fighting for Freedom Timeline that highlights our most important achievements.
As supporters of Free the Slaves, these are your accomplishments. We thank you for making our work possible, and we hope you will continue to contribute during the final days of our 15 Years of Fighting for Freedom fall fundraising campaign.
Thanks!
